A retired San Bernardino County sheriff's sergeant has been accused of murder after his cellmate at West Valley Detention Center in Rancho Cucamonga died of injuries he suffered in an attack, the Sheriff's Department said. On Oct. 2, deputies found Steven Puskar, 47, of San Bernardino, injured and unresponsive in his cell. He was taken to Arrowhead Regional Medical Center in Colton, where he died Oct. 9, a sheriff's news release said.
