A temporary federal Disaster Loan Outreach Center is set to open in Angelus Oaks on Tuesday, Oct. 3, to assist residents and business owners who were affected by Tropical Storm Hilary in August. The U.S. Small Business Administration offers loans of up to $2 million for business owners who experienced economic hardship and up to $500,000 for homeowners for storm recovery. Loans of up to $100,000 for individuals to repair or replace personal property damaged in the storm, including cars, are offered as well, according to a news release.
