The Silverado football team desperately needed a jolt after falling behind in the first half of its Friday night matchup against Yucaipa. Fredrick Hunter provided just that. Hunter exploded through the offensive line on an inside hand-off and made several Yucaipa defenders miss. The senior running back was eventually caught from behind but not until he carried the ball all the way to the one-yard line for a 74-yard run. Two plays later, Hunter finished the job with a one-yard rushing touchdown to put Silverado up 14-13.
