The city of Yucaipa held its inaugural Service Walk ceremony on Nov. 14, and it honored former Mayor Dick Riddell.In 2021, Yucaipa City Council reviewed and approved the proposed Service Walk for the city. As a part of this process, it was determined that a sitting councilmember could nominate an individual with a minimum of 16 years of services (consecutive or broken) to the community as either a city council member, planning commission member, and city approved commissions/committees.Local dignitaries and current councilmen gathered on Monday afternoon to honor Riddell for over 20 years of dedicated service to the city of Yucaipa.
