Amid weekend storms in Southern California, some parts of San Bernardino County were ordered to evacuate on Saturday, Oct. 15 because of possible mud and debris flows in burn scar areas. Evacuation orders for Mountain Home Village, Oak Glen, Forest Falls, Angelus Oaks and the northeast Yucaipa areas were announced around 3 p.m. by the San Bernardino County Sheriff's Department's Yucaipa Police office. By around 6:30 p.m., no mudflows had been reported in the Apple and El Dorado fires burn areas. At 455 PM, showers and storms were increasing in coverage over the San Bernardino Mountains (including the Apple/El Dorado burn scars), the deserts and the Inland Empire.
