Yucaipa Candidates Forum is informative

The Yucaipa 2022 Candidates Forum was held on Wednesday, Oct. 12, at Yucaipa City Hall. This event was sponsored by the Yucaipa Valley Chamber of Commerce and the Yucaipa-Calimesa News Mirror. Editor of the Yucaipa-Calimesa News Mirror, Rachael Gustuson, welcomed the public. Gustuson thanked the city for the use of the facility for the 2022 forum. Cesar Marrufo, board of director of the Yucaipa Valley Chamber of Commerce, moderated the event.Candidates for Yucaipa City Council District 1 and District 2; the Yucaipa Valley Water District Division 2, 3 and 5; and the Yucaipa-Calimesa Joint Unified School District School Board for Area 4 and 5 were given the opportunity to tell the audience a little about themselves, answer two pre-selected questions,submitted by citizens, and a closing statement.
